HALO REACH INETWORK LAG SERIES
In Halo 2: Anniversary, while in Anniversary Mode on Xbox One X and Xbox Series X|S, framerate drops can occur. Players can be kicked from matchmaking with a “Leaving…” notification as soon as the lobby is full. Rarely, players can be “dropped” mid-match and are stuck on a loading screen until the match ends. This also results in a short temporary matchmaking ban. Rarely, a player can be disconnected from matchmaking after loading the map but before the gameplay starts. I really want to get this fixed because it's making whole game unplayable. The following are active issues for Halo: The Master Chief Collection as of in build 1.2969.0.0. I am not sure if that has anything to do with it but it's strange because this didn't start happening until the new patch. So should I turn v-sync back on? Also, I can't find an option that says "low latency mode." I am also using a xbox one controller, when the lag comes, the controller starts to blink.
On the Nvidia panal, I set the pre-rendered frames to 1, the power management mode to maximum performance, threaded optimization on, and v-sync to off. I have been having terrible lag issues that are basically game ending ever since the update.
It fixed the horrendous input lag for me. I'm sure AMD users have something equivalent. In the Nvidia panel under Manage 3D Settings, go to Program Settings, Halo: The Master Chief Collection and search for the option "Low Latency Mode" and set it to Ultra.
